OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson returned to practice Wednesday with a pronounced limp as Baltimore heads into what is essentially a must-win game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Jackson, who is dealing with a right ankle injury, is expected to have limited participation on Sunday, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said before Wednesday’s practice. Sidelined for the past two games, Jackson will get back on the field for the first time since hurting his ankle on Dec. 12, when Baltimore lost at Cleveland 24-22.

Concern is growing for the welfare of a missing 15-year-old boy from Cheltenham who has not been seen since Boxing Day.

Filip, 15, was reported missing yesterday (December 28) and has not been seen since leaving an address in St George’s Drive, Cheltenham, at around 3pm on December 26.

There is concern growing for his welfare and officers would like to speak to anyone who may know his whereabouts.

Police officers were called to a backyard in California during the early hours of Sunday, spotting a mountain lion feasting on a chicken.

A press release from the Pacifica Police Department said that officers arrived at the home on Valencia Way at around 7:30 a.m. after an adult mountain lion was seen by a resident taking a chicken from a coop in their backyard. The caller said that the animal had retreated to the hillside behind the house.

The police officers found the mountain lion around 30 yards behind the home gorging on the chicken. They determined that the mountain lion did not pose a threat to human life, but advised immediate neighbors to stay out of their backyards a…….

MORE than £1,750 was raised at the Woodcote Jingle Jog.

About 140 Christmas-themed runners from Santas to presents and even a “Christmasaurus” took part in the event on the village green. There were races for toddlers, various school years and a tougher course for the adults. All participants received a wooden medal.

Spectators and runners were also able to take part in various games and there were stalls and food. The proceeds will go to Woodcote Primary School, whose friends’ group organised the event.
